Cinderella Card

I made this card for Stampotique Designers Challenge: Put on your best Mask.  The "Masking" technique is very easy to do and it gives your stamped project depth.  It's a popular design choice for many stampers and a single stamp will yield hundreds of possibilities.

Here's my completed card:


The inside reads:  
A new pair of shoes can change your life, just ask Cynderella.

Fist stamp your image on cardstock and quickly re-stamp on scrap paper:

cut out the image on the scrap paper, this will be your mask.

Next, place your cut out on top of the image you stamped on cardstock.  Now you're ready for your second image.  Stamp your second image on top, like this:


You might be thinking this image is ruined???right?.....remember, I covered my image with my mask.  Here's where my image really is:
It was underneath my mask.  After you remove the mask, you get a nice clean image:
It's that easy!

    Oh, Maria, I really like this!! I am just starting to learn scrapbooking, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I just finished my first little mini-scrapbook, and will be starting another album this week! I will definitely try out this technique... And I agree with you 100% about the shoes.. A pretty new pair can make the dullest of days look a whole lot sunnier! ~tina
