My Messy Craft Room

Today I wanted to share my messy craft room with you. No, I'm not ashamed because I have a goal. My goal is to clean that room by this coming weekend! Things got a "little" out of control this past weekend when my mind was bursting with ideas. In fact I can point them out on the picture: the oatmeal box, yes I have a project that will involve that ugly thing, you'll see it soon and when you do, you won't judge me then, ha! the religious stickers, project! the scraps of paper on top of the white box, project! the four canvas frames, project, the red and black book on the left, project!project!project! You got it. Hey, it just occured to me, we can actually play where's Waldo with this picture.

The ironic thing about this is that I have actually been crafting with all that mess for two days now. But, that shouldn't surprise you because I can craft through anything.......9.0 earthquake, no problem, house on fire, no problem, just had oral surgery? no problem! Anyway, I'm sure the after pictures will be more pleasant to look at. I will post those...........soon.

  3. Hi Maria,
I'm so glad that you came by for a visit. My craft room likes about the same. I never have enough room or bins for my stuff. I'm sure with hard work and time, your craft room is going to look fabulous!!

Stop by anytime for a visit!

  4. Bravo for posting this! I unfortunately create a mess in our living room, which has stayed there for a week or two now. It doesn't harm anyone, just uber-annoying. Thanks for stopping by! You should've heard my husband when I came out dressed like that (for the vacuum pic) and told him to take pics of me while I posed with our new vacuum.

  5. Hahaha I love your honesty... my craft room often looks like this when I'm elbow-deep in crafting. If my craft room is clean it means I'm not in a crafting mood or my mother-in-law is coming over! :)

P.S. Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope you make your son an applique shirt. They are super easy!

  6. Hi there,
Your craft room pretty much looks like mine does most of the time. Drives me crazy, but I always get sidetracked, and don't want to clean up everything before I'm done with something. So the mess sits there...
What you said about the buildings in LA reminds me of the movie "500 Days of Summer". Have you seen it? The male protaganist is enthralled with the architecture of the tops of the buildings in downtown LA. His love interest shares his passion.
It's an interesting film, and shows your town off pretty well!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment, very interesting! I hope you'll be back again soon. You might want to join in next Wednesday for Wed. Gratitude.

  7. Sweetie...I just can't wait to see some pics of what comes out of that room!! I got a facebook comment from a buddy when I showed pics of my craftroom the weekend we re did it and told her she'd freak if she saw it now and she said, "It is suppose to be crazy to look at it is a madd science lab!" that helped me relax about it. lol

  9. Your craft room makes me feel not so bad about mine...which is in just about the same condition. I have a room set aside for crafting, but love to join the family in the kitchen, living room or dining room. Messes follow me wherever I go!

  10. Wow! I thought I was the only one with a messy craft room! LOL
I'm glad I finally got mine sort of cleaned up! At least there are boxes and drawers etc for everything, I just need to get in the habit of putting stuff away!
I remember you Maria - are you coming to the new class that starts April 7th? I've signed up, so has Janice, but we will miss that week because we are going to Utah to visit my other daughter and her family. :) Janice is driving most of the way, but I don't think she knows that as yet!
