Ely, my 7 year old sweetie, who also made the principal's list:
and my cape-less HERO husband, Oscar.
And of course, the day that started it all; our wedding day, here's a picture of that very romantic day (here's where you say "aaawww"):
My table is just as romantic with a multicolor fabric I found at Joann's, it's bohemian chic. I just cut it to size and sewed a seam all around.
I opted not to place a vase with flowers because the fabric is so busy by itself so I placed some tea lights in a bowl with water instead. I put a few drops of red food coloring in the bowl. The special menu for today: new york steak, vegies, mashed potatoes, shrimp with lemon and garlic and cake and ice cream. Definately red wine, Stella Rosa, my favorite and you can find here. If you don't normally drink wine because it's too bitter (dry) for you, try Stella Rosa, it's a very sweet red wine with bubbles like champagne, perfect for Valentine's day.
Nice looking table. I love all the bright colors!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to invite you to my very first Friday Favorites party!
Nice festive table! Love the red transferware.
