Wine For Two

A dessert table for two:
Some Koda dessert wine for two.  Koda is a chocolate flavored wine! and yes it tastes and smells like CHOCOLATE!

I went to the County Fair last weekend and went straight to the tablescape showroom and what did I find?
I found lots and lots of fantastic tables that you will not believe your festive eyes.  I'm going to post my most favorite table of all today, well, besides the Halloween tables, which I nearly had a heart attack from.  You see, I LOVE Halloween and the tables were to die for, bwahahaha! (howling in the background).  But I'll save the creepy Halloween tables for a later day as we get closer to it, besides, I don't know if you can handle creepy, scary tables, can you?

This table remind me of Alice in Wonderland because of the grass, it was definitely real grass.
It was set up by Richard Carmona of Chino Hills, California.  It has a Mexican flair with lots of reds, yellows and greens.
Here's a close up:
And from farther away:
Here's a close up of the side table:
Here's another display I liked, I don't know who was the decorator for this table but I like it a lot.  It's very casual with blues and the purples that go well together:
and here's another favorite of mine, I'm sorry but I didn't get the name of the designer for this one either.
This one is so wild and crazy, don't you think? I can just picture myself and my husband sitting there having an Italian pasta and for dessert, tiramisu and a bottle of Koda, oh yeah.

This is my Tablescape Thursday and Pink Saturday posts.  Join the party and head on over to the following linky parties for more Tablescape awesomeness and Pink cuteness:

  1. Tablescapes that are spectacular because of their total environments. The third one reminds me of a scene from the old Audrey Hepburn move, "Green Mansions." Thank you for sharing the pictures. Cherry Kay

  7. I like your pretty depression glass. I collect pink glass, too. :)

Your county fair must be amazing! A whole section for tablescapes? We just get a whole section for chickens. That table with the grass on it is really fun.

  8. "A little bit of bubblegum here, a little bit of duct tape".... and don't forget the WD-40 to keep it all running smoothly.

Whoa, chocolate and booze, doesn't get much better than that. Good blog.

  9. I love a fair! Those table scapes were wonderful. That moss one is out of this world, not practical but surely fun.
    Have a great day.

  12. Hi Maria,
I'd never heard of chocolate wine -- very cool ... two of my favorite things in one bottle!
Your table is so calming -- elegant and dignified. The three at the county fair are very striking. Thank you for sharing them. I especially like the last one -- so exotic and such drama. The light effects are amazing. I wonder how they created the misty quality ...

  14. The enviornment sure makes or enhances the tablescapes.

I have seen the chocolate wine before - is it good? Does it taste good?
